Whyyyy all the cropped pants for guys???

So many pretty pants, all the cropped legs. I hate cropped pants on guys and it makes me sad that I never use most the pants in the game because of it. (... frankly, I hate cropped pants in general, even on girls. But at least you can put her in a pair of strappy shoes and she can pull it off.)

It's not just the cropped jeans ... TUCK IN THAT SHIRT! I'm old fashioned (well, old in general), and I never wear a shirt that isn't tucked in. I'll wear a sweater OVER a shirt, but the shirt is tucked in.

    I don't think that it's old-fashioned. :)

Sometimes, tucked in shirts are simply more appropriate. I customize the career clothes for each and every one of my Sims. Unless they work for a tech company or something, where clothing guidelines may be more relaxed, my Sims are all tucked, pressed, and cleavage covered. That's how I role play it.

Which brings me to my own clothing request: I would love to see more full-length, tailored pants options for males and females, but for males in particular. There aren't enough nice, belted pants like this:

Maybe my game is glitches but if they were originally for male sims they look odd on female sims. I don't like cropped pants on guy sims either.

Same. Can't use the other genders clothes because it look weird around the crotch and chest.

I'm also sick of all the cropped pants for men. All my guys end up wearing the same pair of jeans because everything else looks bad.

Ugh, my boyfriend and I complain about this all the time, too. I don't like to bog my game down with epic amounts of cc but sometimes it's just necessary because most of the styles for male Sims are awful. This was a problem with
    2 & 3 as well.

TS3 has Create-A-Style and using just base game content alone isn't bad if one learns how to use their creativity.

Adult male fashion with all EP's/SP's/Store content is a decent collection. It's just no where near the same amount of CAS content as it is for adult females. Regardless, as mentioned already, there is plenty of different looks by using CASt. Plus, with Create-A-Pattern anyone can make their own or even download other creator's patterns.

One of my Sims for a particular outfit, I liked the cropped pants. It looked nice on him. But it's definitely not for all my Sims.
