Wife....and a girlfriend?

I have a wife & girl friend with 1 kid with both & one on the way with my girlfriend who was the baby sitter. The wife & girlfriend R best friends now without me making them interact. Now my challenge is to get the wife pregnant & see if we can all get along. I am loving how they R not knowing about my husband miss deeds like in real life lol.

I was half asleep when I wrote this & when I read it back I had 2 laugh 2 myself ?????? . But I really ment to put my Sim family.

When I first started reading this there was a brief moment where I thought you were talking about real life... Like, you were confessing to cheating on your wife on a sims forum. Sometimes it really confuses me when people refer to their sims as 'I' :D

I'm terrible for misunderstanding this. Not just with 'I', but also with 'You'.
I've been giving out to people because they used 'you' in their post, me thinking they were being a bit smart towards another community member. Turns out they were talking about their sim. :D

I feel like such a fool sometimes...

But in retrospect, these posts are hilarious.

Don't know that I like this "line of sight" thing... I mean with death if a sim does not "see" it they do not seem to notice that dear sister was eaten by the cow plant....as if she never existed.

I HATED sims 3 jealousy. It didn't matter if you had the cheating sims in a room within a room within a room in the middle of nowhere, the ENTIRE TOWN would magically know about it. At least Sims 2 jealousy made sense. Sims 4 jealousy appears to be similar to it.


To the original poster: your sim can have multiple girlfriends and boyfriends, but just know: if his wife dies or divorces him or whatever, he won't be able to marry someone else if he's got multiple girlfriends going on. For some reason the game turns up a "You can't marry a sim in your employ" error, which ..er, raises questions. What I do is have my Sim just have as many romantic affairs as they want, but either they never marry or they never use the girlfriend/boyfriend option. I find the older I get the more I play my sims like bonobos, though. :D

I'm uncertain about the 'openess' with relationships but in my game (a save wherein my Sim is doing incredibly well as a Rock Star) his new girlfriend is crushing on both his older and next younger brother. Originally, I thought it was them crushing on her, but I got into her household long enough to see how she felt toward them. Mind you, her friendship and Romance bars are both FULL with Erik, (and they just became Best Friends) yet, she's crushing on the other two, as well. Has me worried. I don't play this way. So this thread is a fair bit old. The op likely isn't still looking for answers on this but thanks for sharing your knowledge eitherway. I'm sure future readers will appreciate it. If you'd like to pop open a thread to share stories from your Sims relationships I think you should go for it. :D I'll be closing this one out here to limit necroposting.
