Just moments ago, I totally cracked myself up, as I realized I had sent my Sim on an impossible mission. I have outfitted their large abode with those automatic vacuum cleaners, one on each floor. The downstairs one was obviously full (despite having been upgraded to clean itself while docked). But, instead of having my Sim 'return to dock', I told him to empty the dust. It was a moment or two before I realized my poor Sim was following the device, until I saw him rounding the staircase and proceed back down the main hall toward the kitchen again. I know I'm tired, but this had me cracking up.Please share your moments of Player-Malfunction, in which you likely sent your Sim on a wild goose chase.

I just pictured Erik (I assume it was him and if not, I still see him) chasing a vacuum around like people do when trying to get chickens back in a coop. Or when the wind blows your hat off of your head and you have to run after it. It gave me a chuckle as well. As for any Player-Malfunction stories, I'm drawing a blank. I know I've had many moments like that but I can't think of any at the moment.

So funny. Shades of going upstairs to wash your hands and then back down to take your shower. Can't think of anything quite this good with my sims though.

LOL I play with the 3/4 walls down, so that I could see when he came around the bottom of the staircase. The vacuum was virtually leaving him in the dust it was busy spewing as it went. I got a good chuckle out of it, at least.

I just pictured Erik (I assume it was him and if not, I still see him) chasing a vacuum around like people do when trying to get chickens back in a coop. Or when the wind blows your hat off of your head and you have to run after it. It gave me a chuckle as well.

As for any Player-Malfunction stories, I'm drawing a blank. I know I've had many moments like that but I can't think of any at the moment.

Oh, I see that as problemtic, at best. I suppose so long as you have a dishwasher on hand, or you are diligent in dragging the dirty dishes, et al, to the trash. :open_mouth:

My only player malfunction today was when I wanted to take a screenshot of the outside of my sims apartment and, for some reason, I clicked on the exit to neighborhood button.

I guess I had TS3 in my head and thought for one second I could take a pic from there.

So, after calling myself a fool, I had to load back into my sims apartment and press the page up button to do what I originally intended.

As for sinks, I used to ban them and just have dishwashers. I ought to do that again, my sims are currently driving me nuts fetching glasses of water.

Yep, me too. I do that all the time. Half of my player malfunctions are hitting the wrong button. The amount of times I've hit the V (video capture) key instead of the M (map view) key trying to go to neighborhood view has to be in the thousands by now.

Most of mine involved hitting the M(ap) button when I was only trying to rotate the camera. Face/palm. Drat these evil digits!
