Wild Roses

Question

How do you get the wild roses in Willow Creek to bloom? My sim has viewed 4 different plants almost daily through a fall and spring season and none of them bloomed. I've started a new game with two Gardener Sims and would really like to get a rose. Can anyone help?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure harvestables bloom/ripen at 5AM and only while your active Sim is on the lot.  If you arrive later than 5AM, you miss out on that day's crop.

Pity.

Plant growing is a bit buggy atm, so your best bet would be to order roses on the computer (or use cheats).

Thank you all for your response. I never knew you could buy the flowers under gifts on the phone or computer. I bought one rose and now will produce many more!! Thanks again.
