Of course you could have a desired match that the game decides is not a fated mate.
I see how some people might not like that, but still, it seems like in that situation we can still have all the regular non-were close relationships including spouse and soulmate, even if the person is not the werewolf fated mate.
I'm okay with it as long as it doesn't interfere where we don't want it too. That's always my fear with something like this, how heavy handed and intrusive is it?
This is where I'm at. I actually used to hate the attraction system in Sims 2(I believe it was that one). I found it kind of intrusive. They wouldn't be attracted to who I wanted/needed them to for my story but would end up being attracted to people they are supposed to hate and it drove me crazy I had to spend so much time editing and changing things to drive the story I wanted to tell.
