8 GB is technically fine. Running TS4 probably won’t put you up against your RAM ceiling. Especially since the GPU can eat up 4 GB on its own. And more RAM won’t net you better performance, unless you’re hitting your cap and thrashing the hard drive.
With that said, a little headroom is always nice and it feels wrong to invest in a new computer in 2020 with anything less than 16 GB of RAM.
It's so hard for me. I am a student, I really can't afford high end computers like that
