The Sims 4 is already a console-quality The Sims title. I don't even want to imagine how bad a The Sims 4 on consoles would be.
I actually much prefer consoles. PC gaming is too expensive, and The Sims is the only PC franchise I care about... But The Sims games on consoles are not very good. They're so watered down. They aren't any kind of alternative IMO.
