I will absolutely buy it. Will wait a day or so, only because getting GT day of release was an EA App nightmare.
This is my plan as well. Also, I already know that the weekend immediately after the release is going to be very busy for me, so I won't be able to do much with it until the following weekend, anyway. But on the 29th, it's on! - leucosiax3 years agoSeasoned AceThe world horses and animals is great and I can't wait. This is the only thing that can compete with cottage living as an amazing expansion. I really wanted horse racing track though. Flashback nostalgia from childhood experiences
- ck2133 years agoLegendI don't like the fact that they split off horses and small pets from what we had in the Sims 3 Pets and charged us more than double for it when you include My First Pet. I am at the point where I don't think I will buy anything else for this game until the series is done and get can them all on sale.
There are so many games coming out, including Life By You on early release.
I could easily take a prolonged Sims 4 break and snap up bargains later. - vcosley3 years agoRising AdventurerDid the horses give birth too baby sheep and goats. Really they act like puppies. I'll wait for a sale maybe.
- GlacierSnowGhost3 years agoSeasoned AceI always have to wait for sales. But at this point I expect that I will buy it eventually once it does start appearing on the 50% sales for expansions. I definitely would like to have horses and nectar making.
- EmeraldEyles3 years agoSeasoned AceI may buy it, when it's on sale, and when any game breaking bugs have been fixed. Apparently there's already concerns about bugs in this EP, so it leads me to ask where the heck is quality control?! I already have one pack I paid for that is now completely unplayable, I won't be forking out for another one until I have assurances from the Sims community that everything is running well.
- Cynna10653 years agoSeasoned AceIt's too bad that the dancing couldn't be part of an overall culture that one can learn, as with Selvadorada. That would have been interesting.
- IObelle3 years agoRising VanguardI was planning to buy the pack on release to get the bonus content, but most of my excitement have gone away. The horses themselves are ok but the rest of the game feels weird and rushed. Why add unicorn horns that look legit and glowing, for them to only be accessories? And why can sheep and goats be fed by bottle like babies if they at the same time can be milked? This suggests they gave birth while still being babies themselves. And if all of them can be milked then all of them must be female too, like the cows. Or else it's not milk your getting...
Edit: appearently the goats and sheep aren't babies and they start off as young adults. But then they shouldn't be fed milk from a bottle. Perhaps it's not milk but instead some kind of elixir that will maybe do something to their wool or their milk, giving it special attributes. - davina12213 years agoSeasoned AceI will probably get it the day it releases or the night before. Even packs that I don't think I'll use a bunch have enough content to make me want it. For this pack, I like the idea of adding to a huge 64x64 farm that I'm building now. I like adding the animals and horses to it and making it a real working farm. I like all the animals and I'm very happy that I can get as many sheep/goats as I want. The world looks really nice and I like the way the horses look. In the Sims 3, I wasn't interested in horses much except the unicorn and it was too hard to get it. For some reason, I like the look of these horses. The world and things in it are nice. The store is probably a rabbit hole, but I like it and the board being included. I like the collecting of the grass to make hay and for horses to eat. I hope that we are able to get some of the sims we saw on there. Hopefully, the waterfalls are interactive. I've heard that unicorns are possible, if only for looks, so I hope there is something there. I like some of the wood wallpapers I saw and the fence is nice. The grill looked nice. Love the baby horsey outfit, toddler chaps, and many build buy things. I wish the trailer and cars were real. Wouldn't that be a nice update? Cars ect. Love the huge free lot and there seems to be several lots this time. Many of the previous worlds like Vampires have been small with nearly no lots and even if they put in blank ones, it would be better than nothing. I wish unicorns that are easily made were in this and tractors, however I have to say even though horses don't appeal to me all the way, I'm excited for this pack.

I have lost my excitement, too. What I see, I don't like. But the silence about the game worries me more than what we have been shown.
My family member wants to buy me all the packs, but I have not taken the time to arrange for him to buy it for me. When this thread started, I could not imagine that I would not have this game preordered at this late date. The issue is not the money. I just can't be bothered to bother someone enough to take the time to type in a few passwords and numbers. I just don't care how long I wait for it. Maybe I do not care if I ever have it at all, except that it annoys me not to have the packs that mods and gallery lots expect me to have.
