Winter Massacre

Ok so I got back from work and loaded up the game, we are going on day 5 of winter and no massacre although we have one death, one sim did not make it completely into the gym on time during a blizzard and froze to death in the entrance, since it was inside it was all goods, everyone mourned and then stopped and went on with their gym sessions. I will play the last two days but its looking like if one dies outside and the mourning begins then the massacre begins, one after the other will freeze while mourning, but since I did not force someone outside by keeping them in a conversation I have not had any massacres in this save.
