Come to think of it, I'd like it if we could buy vacation homes like in Sims 2 and 3. But then that would require larger vacation worlds, and so far with OR and Vampires...

In OR we got five lots that are rentable. If I could change any of them to residential, then I could have one private house, two community lots (one restaurant and one spa), one rentable cabin and one campsite.

Still sounds kind of bare to me

Looking back OR doesn't seem to have a lot of gameplay. But the same could be said about CL being an EP imo.

I think the best GP's have been Dine Out, Parenthood and Vampires as they actually have new gameplay. But OR was the first GP.

Yeah, it's mostly about the new destination world and new collectibles. It's not bad, but the others are better.

    Bonehilda Returning?

Doesn't look like bonehilda to me, more like interactive skeleton decor, I would say something like mummy but not a lifestate
I think this is some kind of vacation like world adventure but I'm not sure if tropical

It's in the same postion as a Sim was in the previous picture, so I'm not sure it's an object but I could be wrong? Maybe it's like a curse? Like in those movies where you touch an ancient artifact and turn into a skeleton (pretty sure that was in one of the Indiana Jones movies)?

Remember full lifestates cannot come in a GP unless that game pack is dedicated to them (like vampires)
I think that skeleton may act like a lifestate in a specific locations and cannot roam freely
Unless EA broke the rule this time and included a fully functional occult in a GP

    There is absoi

There is absolutely no rule that says that. Just because it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it can't.

A chore is something you MUST do, like laundry. Collecting coins is a reward.

But in order to enjoy a vacation home with maybe 2+ people you must do it and then do other quests for half the vacation period just to get in the house.. I wouldn't call that exactly a reward to me (more like an overload chore), but that's just me. Unless one wants to be cramped with a dozen random people in a camp (worst honeymoon ever lol). Not to mention technically, you don't have to do laundry...you technically "choose" to...unless ya know...one prefers the life of messy houses lol.

The reward for a clean house? priceless  . But hey that's just me I guess <3. I'm just saying a chore can almost be anything if one doesn't wish to do it (or at least dread it  ).

Yeah but laundry doesn't clean the house - it made it messy in sims 3. My sims clothes did not get dirty as long as I did not put the washer in my sims house. So it is sort of an unnecessary chore.

I am getting the pack because I want the other content- but the washers won't be in my sims house. But rattan and wicker can really make for a cute beach house in BB and my sim already has that little house on the beach I want to fix up with some of that stuff. I like the clothes too - so I will get it. I still wish we got the eco stuff but the pack is what it is -

Would you enjoy it if it was like Makin' Magic where you had to earn over 1500 coins to buy a home in Magic Town? Though I did love that EP, it became a big chore, and I never did earn them all. Years later I got a mod to go ahead and give my Sims all the coins they needed (especially when they could only earn a few at a time in Magic Town) to finally get to look at Old Man Lum's property. That's actually sad I never did get enough to move to Magic Town without a cheat/mod years later.

What annoyed me about that was that you couldn't peek inside the house BEFORE buying it. I had my sims grind for Magicoins, and when I moved them in, it wasn't as good as I thought. And you weren't refunded the coins if you moved out of MagicTown. :\ What a ripoff
  • listen if I don’t get to interact, like reaalllyyy interact with the wild life like a macaw or something you can throw the whole gamepack away (jk :joy: )
