- SimmervilleSeasoned AceI've seen that sims taking a bubble bath might be sitting in the tub laughing and having fun long after they are clean. I always keep an eye on someone who takes a bath. Never had a sim die from laughing yet, though.
Another emotion effect that I strongly dislike is that in my student dorm female students get extremely flirty from watching a romantic movie on tv. This leads to female students flirting with everyone, and especially with other females, regardless of being a shy person or what. It simple looks very wrong that a sensible woman suddenly starts flirting like crazy just because she watched tv. Hello??? I've never seen this in homes, but frankly I mostly played students since the DU release. - Admiral8QNew SpectatorI've been trying to kill an elder without just deleting her. She's Nina Caliente's mother. I keep sending her on jogs, she gets a few steps from the house, turns around and goes and lies down somewhere. lol! The reason is I want her to stay on the genealogy diagram. Not a blank.
But yeah, the death by emotion thing is kinda dumb. - In ~2000 hours of gameplay I've had only one accidental emotional death. My Vampires caused quite a few emotional deaths but I worked for those and intended them. Granted I don't like play much in fancy environments - give me run-down houses any day.
- I can't find my sim who died in any gallery and her urn disappeared. Is there any way I can recover her for even a future game? She seriously was the prettiest sim I ever made. :(

Only if you have a backup saved game or haven't deleted her from your personal offline gallery. If she was on your played lot when she died, the urn would not normally disappear on its own. You could check the family inventory or one of the other Sims' inventory.
But other than this, you'll just have to move on if she is nowhere to be found. - GalacticGalSeasoned Ace

When you first created her in CAS and then clicked on the check mark on the lower right to place her in your game, that is supposed to make a copy in My Library. Do you have a back up version of your saves folder, or your Tray? She should be in your Tray. Again, obviously, you got into the Gallery, but then you have to go to where it says My Library. Click on households and see if she isn't somehow hiding from you. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't offer any other advice other than for you to try to recreate her in CAS. I have a tendency to make back-ups prior to patches. I also will take my Sim families into cas.fulleditmode, noodle with them if needed (mostly to change out their wardrobes) but then I will also make a point to save them to My Library. There's a file folder icon near the top in CAS. But, you should already have a copy if you didn't lose your Tray.
Best of luck, and I feel your pain. - GalacticGalSeasoned Ace

Me thinks there's a bit of contraband in the form of said 'flirty movies'. :open_mouth: If you get my drift. I won't have those movies in my RL house. - So I believe I saved her to my gallery at one point but she isn't there. I just tried saving the current family to the gallery also and I don't see them? Am I doing something wrong?
- Karababy52New Spectator@BatmanFanGirl Do you use CC for your Sims? If so, I believe you'll have to check the box in your Gallery search for 'include custom content.' Not sure if that's the exact wording, but hopefully you understand what I mean and can find it. Good luck, I hope you can figure out how to get her back somehow. :)

Also if you used any cc (skin overlays, eyes, clothes, etc.) on her or sometimes if you just have cc in your game, she may have been marked as modded. So check the box on the left side of the gallery window that says include custom content.
