- you can marry him and even make him act like a normal sim all you have to do is Control + shift + C then type in testingcheats true, after that type in cas.fulleditmode Then shift click a sim that lives with the grim reaper and click modify in cas mode. after that just give the grim reaper what ever traits you want (you might have to give him a ring or watch if it dosn't work the first time, don't worry it doesn't show up) then he can get married, have kids, and die like a real sim. (he dose loose his deep voice, smoke and floating ability though) also to get him to live with you just do testingcheats true, left click him and it should say add to family. "whew" :)
- SeaDragonSong10 years agoSeasoned AceI haven't tried in Sims 4, but tablet is weird and might have done something I didn't want it to lol
I do hope they add a tombstone of life and death though - You can marry a reaper without cheating.
If you go to the gallery, you can download the reaper. From there on you can create a second sim, and then choose the "Wife/husband" option. They'll start off married, and that's the only way I know of to marry a reaper without mods. You can't 'try for baby' or 'woohoo' though. You can adopt a child, and Grim will take on as a father. That's all I got.
Edit: I figured out that you can woohoo the reaper. But, after the baby is born he turns human. I've also seen it doesn't always work.
Open the cheats bar.
Enter: testingcheats true
Enter: bb.showhiddenobjects
Now WooHoo and even Try for Baby should appear.
Notice: I have the reaper in my family already. You can still manage to do this, but you will have to manage to kill sims and such. - I think i should ask, isnt the reaper genderless?

You can change his gender, but he is male. I had checked in CAS - To anyone who is wondering, I was able to do this and have a child who is grim's.
The steps to add Grim to family were offered to me by another user
Skipping steps one through four because it involved using a mod not needed so long as Grim is at your lot because of a Sim death. "testingcheats on" must be enabled and then do the following:"cyanidebaby;13061291" wrote:

Step 5: Reapy will show up to lay the smack down on your victim, shift click him and choose 'Add To Family'
Step 6: You will realise at this point that you can't woohoo with him or kiss him, but we can fix that.
Step 7: Open your cheat console and type cas.fulleditmode
Step 8: Shift click your female sim and choose modify in CAS, we can get to Mr Reaper this way as the whole family turns up in CAS. Name him (Grim Reaper will do) give him some traits, and make sure you turn him into an ADULT. (****This part is important****)
Step 9: Now he's a normal Sim and you can Try For Baby with him and even marry him if you like.
Good luck!
Now, I was reluctant to do all of this, as I, one didn't want to mess up my Grim and have him not be able to reap souls anymore, and two, was sad that he would now be considered a "normal sim" after doing the deed, when really I only wanted to do this once (or enough to get pregnant), I was playing my Olive Specter storyline and needed a baby Nervous on the the way (for any of you who don't know Olive Specter is a premade sim in The Sims 2, who is believed to be a black widow, and her son is the child of the Grim reaper, as she has a memory for woohooing the reaper just before having her son). http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Olive_Specter
I did do all of this and yes, Grim was able to have a child with Olive here is the proof that worked:
Before the woohoo:
Grim is good at cleaning up after morning sickness, lol
Feeling the belly, kind of creepy, well all of this is really haha
About to give birth:
Grim is Nervous's daddy!!
Now, after doing all those steps, Grim is a "Normal Sim", you can change his clothes in CAS, although I wouldn't recommend changing his everyday wear. You can give him traits and an aspiration. Changing him to an ADULT makes him a normal sim and gives him the ability to have romantic interactions. BUT he will not have the creepy grim voice anymore, and he will not float or have the smoke when he floats. I was also unsure of what would happen if a sim died, would he show up?
To fix this issue: I was browsing some videos and found a comment that someone posted giving this cheat: "traits.equip_trait grimreaper"
So after going back into CAS and changing him back to a YA (because who knows, that didn't work) I tried this cheat. I didn't see it add any "trait" but all of a sudden he was floating, had the smoke, and the deep grim voice again. Also, he was again, unable to do romantic interactions, he was back to normal! **Again, make sure "testingcheats on" is enabled**
Next, I did not want him living with me anymore, so I split the household, under household management and gave him his own household, I still kept him as a "played household", I did not move him in anywhere though.
I then attempted to drown a sim on Olive's lot, and sure enough, Grim appeared, as normal, the same Grim, and he reaped their souls, and disappeared per normal. Yay!!!
I was very pleased this all worked out, I have not grown young Nervous into a child yet, so I don't know what he looks like, he just looks like a normal baby right now.
I wanted to share all of this with everyone because I know there have been some questions, and I know like me I am sure that there was uncertainty as to what the repercussions of this would be.
**Lastly, I wanted to note, since this works, it would be kind of neat to make a house for Grim, like the one that came with TS3 Midnight Hollow, and keep a graveyard out front, you could visit him, I personally wouldn't play him, but it would be funny to see how that worked! Just an idea.
Anyways, sorry this was so long and complicated, but HAPPY SIMMING, and "Weirder Stories", yeah. lol.

So I've figured out a way to have children with the Grim Reaper. (It does involve cheats)
1. Kill a sim to summon the Reaper
2. Use the cheat box and type "testingcheats on"
3. Shift click the Grim Reaper and "add to family"
4. Use the cheat box and type "cas.fulleditmode"
5. Shift click other character in household and edit in CAS. then when in CAS, choose the Reaper.
6. Turn him into an adult, retype his name, change anything you wish. Do not change his clothes if you want him to still look like the Reaper.
7. OPTIONAL FOR SPEED: change relationship status to spouse for a household sim (you may also wish to do this manually through regular proposals and such.
8. Treat the reaper like any other sim, kiss, woohoo, try for a baby ect.
I am currently pregnant with Grim, but I am unsure if this will effect either Grim or the child once I give birth. Might update once I give birth.
I think this trick doesn't work anymore. They must have patched it something. My grim didn't lose his reaper traits by editing in full cas, retyping his name and making him an adult. He was still floating, still had the grim voice, still wasn't able to woohoo. It just messed up his clothes so I exit without saving.- @rjhenn14 really interested in seeing how this child turns out! Keep us updated? :)
- @AshlieBoom I play rotational and haven't gotten to aging him yet; however I think I may revisit soon and will keep updated!
Also, @veronica55 if that is true, that would be extremely sad, I wonder if there is a cheat to remove the trait, just like there is the one to add it - @veronica55 maybe if "traits.equip_trait grimreaper" works to add the hidden trait maybe something like "traits.remove_trait grimreaper" would work
