I really just don’t understand it. Why are they making the weakest foundation of all of The Sims games the longest iteration?
When you think about it, it makes sense.
It costs a lot of money to start over and, if you notice, the community (including myself) are starting to feel the fatigue. It makes more fiscal sense to stretch this iteration out as long as they can, padding it with SP after SP. Each time, basically, spinning a roulette wheel, getting the community to speculate on what desired object will turn up next, some members being disappointed by the outcome, then spinning the wheel again, ad nauseam.
At this point, it has become a really sickening game. But it's the only game in town and they know it.
