- if these are the options
neither of these was bought by me
but i may be biased cause i think making willy wonka land or cute shops out of katy perry stuff would have been fun if it was not katy perry advertisement
like idk i was never into star wars so i dont know what i would even do with jtb but i know exactly what i would do with some ridiculous sweets themed furnitures - i don't care because we're not forced to buy those packs, it ain't nothing new that ea and many other companies use their products as an advertising tool, be it for politics, for a certain brand, for a celebrity, whatever
- WaytoomanyUIDsRising ScoutI think you could have fun with Katy Perry's House of Pain. Journey to Galaxy's Edge? I'm not sure. They are both blatant cash grabs but somehow Galaxy's Edge grates more.
On that subject have you heard that Disney are refusing to pay Alan Dean Foster, well known science fiction author and writer of the novelisation of A New Hope, several other Star Wars books and the novelisations of the Aliens movies royalties they owe him? https://www.sfwa.org/2020/11/18/disney-must-pay/ - Kimmer_oneRising TravelerEco Lifestyle
- Katy Perry Sweet Treats isn't even bad. People just love to be edgy by hating on anything that's considered "mainstream". Hating Katy Perry and other pop stars is, for some reason, the "cool" thing for people to do.
Also, Sweet Treats wasn't released during a time in Sims 3 when we were severely lacking much more important gameplay and content. Sims 3 packs were always great, regardless. Meanwhile, in Sims 4, we have A LOT of things yet to be added to the game that fans have been wanting and asking for... but EA decided to take the Star Wars game pack route for some reason... and then acted surprised by the backlash. As if they didn't ask for it.
Almost NOBODY wanted the Star Wars pack (it even came in last place in the surveys EA sent out)... but they released it anyway because common sense isn't something EA has, apparently. - simsimsereRising ScoutOh I voted wrong. I don't own either, but I could imagine getting JtB.
- keekee53Seasoned NewcomerHate both and do not own either but when you have a game already lacking with so many basic things like dancing face to face, it is DEFINITELY not the time to release some rando pack that really has nothing to do with the sims.
- LadyGray01Seasoned HotshotI bought Sweet Treats when it was on sale for $5 once. There were actually enough usable outfits and items to make it worth that price, particularly since we could recolor. And my daughter loves the pack.
But I don't want Star Wars in my game. At all. Not even remotely. I never even use the costumes that were with the game already. If I was interested in Star Wars, I would play one of the SW games my kids have. I will never buy it. - I have to KPST is the worst cause even though JTB is forgettable IMO it has some good build and cas pieces here and there while ST is very themed limiting it uses. Plus it adds little to nothing for men and kids so that is a big upset for me.
Also KPST was $30 USD when it came out and it was a limited item only sold for a period of time. You can't even buy it now unless you find a physical copy. JTB is 20 like all other GPs.
I think most ppl think JTB is the worst cause it new and fresh so their disappointment and anger with it is fresh. - meeshwoodSeasoned VeteranI liked JTB ?
