Would you be okay with more EPs without worlds?

Worlds are only needed in packs where they are required. So yes, I would be be okay with less worlds in future packs that don't have any reasons to include one other than "players need more lots".

However, I do think that seasons not having a world will be an exception, and that future expansion packs will have new world(s), as some of the expansion packs of The Sims 3 that didn't have a world such as Generations, have now been condensed into game packs.
