Money is a great incentive for them to keep making things. Every modder I've seen making a respectable amount of $$ via Patreon usually updates within hours-1 day.
The question was about a pack, though.. When I pay for something on Patreon, I'm fairly sure that it's going to the person who did/does the work. I'd be skeptical about a pack advertised as being created by fans.
