That being said, they may not always have the time or resources to continuously update their product because... well, life happens! I would not expect them to drop everything they have going on just because their pack has some new issues or whatever, but then there's unusable content in the game that I purchased and but cannot enjoy.
-Isn't it against the rules to sell CC anyway? I guess maybe in this scenario that's not the case, but I read somewhere on the forum that creators are not allowed to profit from their work - which I will not go into whether or not I agree with this. It could also be total plum, I literally can't give you a source where I think I might have read this lol
(All of the above is really just about CAS and Build/Buy items, not mods... I don't think I'd ever buy a mod)
Overall, if it went into the hands of The Sims team before being sold to us as an official EA pack or included for free via patch, I probably would look into it. If not, I will politely go without :)
I would think that if EA decided to do this and release CC as part of the actual game, it would all be tested, made to fit in with the game and with nothing wrong with it. Stringent guidelines. They'd make sure it was all on the up-and-up.
