Come on, guys, you did not even read between the lines. It is obvious that it is not any badly produced content that would be accepted as the winner of a competition of that level. This idea was going to revolutionize our games in a wonderful way, it would benefit creators, devs, and us, players! We wouldn't have months of wait for news, for content, bug fixes... Everyone that worked to fix, patch, add content would be properly payed and recognized, and our game would be much more consistent and regular than any Sims game ever was. CC creators had fixed the time jumping bug years before EAxis could, they found a way to add a mod that fixed the piles of rotten leaf way before...
@PlayerSinger2010 Official is official, right?! If a fanpack gains a worldwide competition to choose the best out of the best custom contents, got officialized, won a lifetime chance of being updated, fixed, polished and improved, wouldn't that be a quality content for you?
AGAIN, this wouldn't be the sort of contest that a five year old with a computer and maia could get into. This would have rules, quality and praise from the fans before it was even allowed to get into the competition... Imagine being added to the game, another round of rules, quality and praise to win thay competition. Yes, your content creator would win with it, they would for sure receive a % of every money someone expends on their officialized and polished contents, be it 10% for developing a bed that was included in Sims 4 University or a whole 90% of a Stuff Pack fully developed with their hard work and passion for the Sims.
Simmers, I understand that you got so scared that the only thing you could recall in the deepest parts of your brain that EA could pranks us all with that, but that would be a revolution for us. Being able to vote, promote a choose what we most wanted in our games. Even better than the community pack that gave us Laundry Day.
..... No. Still no. It's not made by EA, so no.
Another pack like laundry day I would be fine with but ONLY because it was OFFICIAL EA STAFF working on it and not some CC creator who can't even make the CC look smooth and clean to the game.
