Would you give.up clothes/animations for shorter teens?

The game already allows us to put the same clothes on sims with vastly different sizes and even different sexes, and while not everything looks equally great on everyone, at least it fits, so clothes aren't the problem here. I'm using a mod to change the heights of my sims, not just teens, also adults, and the problem lies in the animations. That alone, however, is already a big enough issue that I'm not sure the time the developers would need to fix it would be worth it.
