Would you give.up clothes/animations for shorter teens?

No. They look like older teens to me (15-17 years old). I stopped growing when I was 15. I was adult height. I still looked like a child, but I was as tall as I was ever going to get. I think their height makes sense.
If anything, Id rather they just made an age group called "preteens". Those could be younger teenagers (10-14ish) and be slightly shorter and have their own clothing that is a mix between being "grownup" and still having that babyish aspect that middle school aged kids have.
