- Eh I don’t really see the point. They weren’t all that interesting in previous games when you could do more with them and I don’t see what they could do with them in this one to make them more interesting. So I’d much rather they concentrate on something else.
- I don't know why people are so fixated on making sure babies are not only freed from their bassinets, but also have dozens of options... especially when the vast majority of players simply age them up within just a couple days anyway. It would be pointless to waste time and resources on this when there are so many other things the developers can be working on.
The only difference between babies in this game VS Sims 2 and Sims 3 is the fact that they're stuck in the bassinet. Otherwise, they're basically the same thing. Babies have never been fleshed out... and honestly, they don't need to be. Especially when toddlers are now in the game. - I want them fixed but maybe not as eagerly as the poll option indicates. I'd like to carry them around and maybe have an interactive mobile for them, as well as crawling. That's about it, aside from the few CAS options. It's a lifestage that feels ignored to me. Given that you can still age them up whenever you please, I don't see how making this better for people who want better babies would be an issue, so long as devs are still fixing things like the leaf piles ?
- Honestly, I don't care about them. I always spend two or three days as baby and then age up.
- moxiegraphix6 years agoRising NoviceI haven't played with babies since ts1. The second I learned there was a cheat to age them up early, I started doing it. It wouldn't affect my gameplay at all, but if other people want updated babies and get them, it's not like I would complain. It's important to some people.
- Luckylunayre6 years agoNew SpectatorI can't vote because I want them to be updated but don't think they're top priority.
- I'd prefer to see elders get some love. :)
- purplestarz20066 years agoNew SpectatorI wouldn’t necessarily say that babies should be top priority, but I think some updates would be nice. Personally I’m ok with them always being in an object; I would just like some more options of objects to put them in. Aside from some more choices for cribs, aplay mat, bouncer seat, and an option to wear the baby in a sling to take them places would go a long way.

- LiELF6 years agoSeasoned AceTruthfully, I don't really care if they are updated because that life stage just doesn't mean anything to me and I tend to bypass it anyway. But I know that a lot of people want them improved, so I wouldn't completely deny everyone else of it, but I do think it can wait for now because there are more important things the game could prioritize. I feel that the change would end up being more cosmetic anyway, because there's just not much you can do with an infant, and that's why it should be set aside for now. Improvements on current features are always a good thing, but not necessarily worth top priority.
