- I would prefer them to fix teens first - its such an exciting life stage where so much can happen, and it just feels ugh! I'd like babies to be freed, and to be able to put them on a play mat, crib or a stroller or something, but other than that, I'd rather they made changes to drastically improve longer life stages.
- This is the main thing I want in The Sims 4 at the moment. I just think there's so much more they can do with babies other than just having them in the crib the whole time. It's not like we're asking for babies to be able to breathe fire or anything, just more things we can do with babies (just no fire breathing. It'd be so funny but unnecessary).
- Eh I don’t really see the point. They weren’t all that interesting in previous games when you could do more with them and I don’t see what they could do with them in this one to make them more interesting. So I’d much rather they concentrate on something else.
- I don't know why people are so fixated on making sure babies are not only freed from their bassinets, but also have dozens of options... especially when the vast majority of players simply age them up within just a couple days anyway. It would be pointless to waste time and resources on this when there are so many other things the developers can be working on.
The only difference between babies in this game VS Sims 2 and Sims 3 is the fact that they're stuck in the bassinet. Otherwise, they're basically the same thing. Babies have never been fleshed out... and honestly, they don't need to be. Especially when toddlers are now in the game. - Honestly, I don't care about them. I always spend two or three days as baby and then age up.
- LuckylunayreNew SpectatorI can't vote because I want them to be updated but don't think they're top priority.
- LiELFSeasoned VeteranTruthfully, I don't really care if they are updated because that life stage just doesn't mean anything to me and I tend to bypass it anyway. But I know that a lot of people want them improved, so I wouldn't completely deny everyone else of it, but I do think it can wait for now because there are more important things the game could prioritize. I feel that the change would end up being more cosmetic anyway, because there's just not much you can do with an infant, and that's why it should be set aside for now. Improvements on current features are always a good thing, but not necessarily worth top priority.
- LaBlue0314Rising ScoutAs they are now, I don't play with babies. If my sim has one, they get aged up immediately after birth. As it is now, it feels like I am just playing with a bassinet, no different than playing with those talking toilets. I miss the way babies were done in TS2 and 3. In 2 you could give them a bath in the sink, hand them off to other sims, and in 3 you could take them out when your sims went out. Babies were much more interactive in the past. To me, babies in TS4 took a huge step backward to the past.
- I would like more outfits for babies, and hair, and maybe some baby equipment
- I really wish babies would be updated. I play with aging off and age babies up after 112 days, which is kind of boring with the current babies. I would love more ways for sims to interact with babies and to be able to take them out of the bassinet.
