It will be at this point that you will make a sim when you are 8 years old, and 70 years later when you are dead, they will still have 3 life stages to complete. Simmers will have to start bequeathing their pixel people to family in their wills.

Okay, that's it. If people are going to push for preteens, I'm pushing for Demiliches and Eldritch Gods. Let's really make the Elders matter.

I'd much rather they flesh out the baby stage, allow them to learn to crawl and interact with their environment.

Why on earth would anyone want the most awkward, cringy age-group to be included in the game? What would you even do with them? There's not big enough of a gap between preteens and children. Not to mention the huge amount of resources and time it would take to implement it. My suggestion would instead be to change the teen-height back to the way it used to be - slightly shorter than adults.

I feel like the reason people want preteens is because teens in ts4 are just like adults. I think everyone agrees that teens need some serieous tweaking, but adding another lifestage altogether isn't going to improve what we already have, and the game would just end up running slower and being less user friendly. I'd much rather have improved teens.

Yes - I'd like to have pre-teens but also not a huge deal if we don't get them. Could cut some time off from the end of kids and the beginning of teens to make the pre-teens.

For myself, this doesn't really interest me. I cover this phase between older children and younger teens.

I also don't have all of my teens act in the same ways. They do gradually gain maturity and how they act also depends on the household that they grow up in. I haven't played with many rebellious teens yet. I don't think teens are just like YAs.

Also, I don't have a problem with the teens in the game including their heights. They do look physically different to me.

I don't have a tremendous interest in the preteen years. I might have more interest in the teen years with more content for them. I'm glad that DU adds the college admissions process for them.

As for teens being able to do "everything that YAs do", just because they can doesn't mean that they have to. Some cultures grow up very differently than others. In some cultures, teens do act much more like adults than in, say, parts of the US. I like the flexibility of creating different types of teens.

Nah. Unless there would be something groundbreaking and new with the pre-teen stage, I don't think they'd be necessary. I just want to focus on what we do have and develop them more.

Since teens in this game are basically the same as a young adult I say why not.

Pre-teens would make me play sims 4 24/7. Not like I don't already! But pre-teens would be perfect for stories. Also, I think they would add some great gameplay. I don't think aging up from babies to children is realistic, nor aging up from children to teens. I'm really hoping they add pre-teens, like they added toddlers, which I am grateful for.
