In Island Living, they included a new color for a base game toilet. They didn’t just patch the new color into the game, you got it when you paid for Island Living. I would be ok with them adding new colors to the hot tubs that already exist in Perfect Patio as an update, but you would have to own Perfect Patio in order to see them. Or, they could offer a hot tub shaped like a heart for example in a new pack. I wouldn’t mind that.
I don’t want this new hot tub to be included in the base game. If they want to add more hot tubs, they need to be in a new pack, not just included as a free update to the game. That does not seem fair to me.
@Chazzzy @Drakos These hot tubs would be implemented in the base game for those who don't have Perfect Patio. To be fair, past iterations had hot tubs as base game content
and expanded them in design for different DLCs.
Why should The Sims 4 be treated any differently? Why should players not have hot tubs when they only have the base game installed or they aren't interested in Perfect Patio SP?

not asking for
Perfect Patio Hot Tubs to be given away for free. Rather,
hot tubs available in the base game without excluding availability of other designs which can be acquired via purchasing DLC, such as PP SP or other expansions or game packs.
^ We haven't seen the return of any hot tubs of any design after Perfect Patio. We are left with only
two hot tubs within 5 years of The Sims 4.
