I left my response very short earlier, simply because my daughter was just getting up and I had to rush to get her ready for swimming lessons, so I stopped typing haha. However, now she's busy eating breakfast, so I can expand.
In my opinion, yes, I'd like to see them added to base game.
I do own perfect patio and I did buy it ONLY for the hot tubs, but that money I spent is gone whether they add it to base game or not. It's not like I'll ever get it back at this point.
However, if they add it to base game, we might get some new colours for it in later packs or patches, or new designs which would be nice to have.
Plus I like the idea of people who can't afford packs getting the main items in them for free. I think it'd increase their enjoyment of the game and they'd be more likely to buy future packs if they are more invested in the game itself later. But even if they don't, I'm happy for them just to have the items. Cuz yeah, I'm not getting my money back either way so it doesn't affect me if others have the stuff at this point.
I do not think they should add main items from newer packs, but once packs are more than a year or two old I don't have an issue with it. Then people can decide if they want to buy it as it's released, or wait a couple of years and maybe get it for free.
