Create-a-Style is extremely intuitive and the easiest way I can slap purple and black checkerboards on everything. However, because I'm a PC user, that's technically possible to achieve with very simple mods and that's how I manage to make swatches I need for my Sims (I need my bright pink military uniforms and purple men's clothing). In fact, making purple and black checkerboards just requires I replace textures and is easier than recoloring parts. Of course, console players would be locked out of said option unfortunately but honestly, that's the console manufacturer's fault for not being as mod friendly as the PC. Still, Create-a-Style's main perk is that it's extremely easy to use and you don't need to back out of the game, extract textures, and recolor parts when you can just do everything in-game and I would welcome its return had performance issues been resolved. And with today's modern hardware, I should think that it's possible to return Create-a-Style intact, especially since many modern games nowadays have their own recolor customization like it. Should it return, at the very least, allow me to just recolor if material swapping or patterns aren't possible.
Create-a-World is something I haven't really messed with in 2 and 3. It's way too much effort for me so just stick to pre-made worlds. I should try it out, however, so I can make my own abominations of buildings and maybe have too much fun with it.
Open World, I want back the most. I abhor the amount of loading screens in 4 and is the main reason I stick to my home lot all the time. I love seeing one of my Sims at, say, the library, visiting another household, and then checking on in Sims back home, it kinda blew me away when I first played 3, and this is coming from someone who played 4 first.
