I definitely recommend Tartosa. I don't really use the big wedding celebration aspect of MWS because events frustrate me but it's one of my favourite worlds and I've made some of my favourite builds there. I've made a huge chateau on the Thebe Estate and also done a little renovation of Piccola Luce which is almost on it's own little peninsula. All the lots have beautiful views. I've also added a stable to a Vacation Rental because it's actually a nice spot for horse riding as it's so scenic. My celebrity DJ has her house right on the beach with a party deck, reminding me of my days clubbing in Ibiza and the Canary Islands. I also built a Casita (Encanto) style house at the very top of Tartosa on Rifugio dei Pirati and my Sim makes the most of it by working from home on her jewellery store empire and walks her dogs around the area which is really nice in first person camera.
I like that the little store fronts can be interacted with but agree they close way too early. I love collecting the bottles in the sand and reading the messages inside but I think they missed a trick. I'd have liked it to be similar to feather collecting in Brindleton Bay or relic collecting in Moonwood Mill where it builds something once the collection is complete and I would have liked that to link to Princess Cordelia. Cordelia and the pirate's lore is hinted at all over Tartosa but could have been bigger, same with Sulani IMO.
But as a builder Tartosa is essential for me.
