I will watch as much as I can, because I want to know things before I play to avoid huge mistakes and waste my time trying to fix them later. Sometimes there are things that can't be found if you don't even know they exist.
I usually watch only DrGluon and sometimes James Turner on YouTube because they concentrate on fun (DrGluon) and gameplay (both) and not obsess about how pretty their Sims are, but when new packs are being released I usually watch a lot of others as well. I just skip on the parts that are not interesting to me.
