Well, I won't go into any spoilers (even if I had any), but after watching one YouTube video that only showed CAS and the new items I was surprised at how much was added. No clue what the game play is like though.
For me personally, I watch videos before buying. There have only been a handful of games or DLCs I've ever preordered, I want to know what I'm getting for my money so I don't buy blindly. I never get caught up in the hype, I want to see exactly what I am buying. There have been too many times in the past when I've bought something only to realize that for the money spent it just wasn't worth it.
But that is an individual decision, what works for me may not work for you. If you are 100% positive you are going to buy, then I'd say don't watch anything and explore the content for yourself before watching any videos.
