Hello all. Is the 'Write Music' feature working properly? I finished writing a song on the guitar and the notification said I could sell the song for licensing, but there is nothing in my inventory. My second issue with the 'Write Music' feature is that whenever I cancel the action of writing music, my sim doesn't stop.Thirdly, it takes forever to write a song. Is it intended to take so long?Thanks!

OK, I figured out the licensing issue. You're not able to license your written songs until the next skill level after learning to write songs.

I had the same issue w/ my Sim not stopping - and it takes forever to finish a song. I've been using the resetsim cheat to make him stop.

Wow - I've got like 11 pieces of sheet music in my inventory and I keep trying to license them by using the mailbox, but the option never shows up. I'm about to level guitar to level 9, so I'll see if it works after that.

Yep, still taking him forever to stop when I cancel the 'write song' option. I've found that selecting 'move here' after I click cancel 'write song' seems to work.

Hi Ophylleni,

I believe the sheet music you have in your inventory are all unfinished songs. If you click on the sheet music it should allow you to resume writing them. Whenever I've completed writing a song nothing is left behind in my inventory and the option to license the song became available at the mailbox.

My Sim wouldn't stop writing until she was starving. I then clicked on the sheet music in inventory to complete the song and it instantly said it was completed. Don't have option to sell though. This seems like a very big bug.

This is still going on but I found that if you click near your sim and "go here" it'll complete the cancellation. =]

I think you have to wait for some time to license your song through the mailbox. And you can't do it if you already license another song and if it is still getting royalties.

So... i didnt realize that it left incomplete songs in your inventory to finish.
i completed 4 songs at once. and then tried to license them not knowing you could only do like one music license per week/per instrument(from what i have read on other threads) i tried to liscense all four at once lol.

i wonder when they will fix this because you can liscnese multiple books at once
