Yard Sales

I like having the painting display thingy. My Sim saves all his masterpieces and sells them at 300% mark up. So much easier than opening a retail lot. I use the table mostly to sell frogs and woodworking items.

I can't figure out for the life of me how to use the tarp. I bought all the timgs at the Flea Market and was going to try to sell them at a huge profit.

It doesn't seem like the sales amounts count toward money earned by the individual Sim in the Wealth aspiration. It does count toward the money in reserve.

Is anyone else using the Yard Sale items? How is it working for you?

I got my sim's gourmet cooking skill up to 10 and I make Baked Alaska (serving of 8) for $100 and sell at a 50% markup and they sell for $1,053 each. I didnt even try it at a higher markup! But selling food can be extremely profitable especially with the "homey" and "chef's kitchen" lot traits.

Oh, my gosh. I didn't even know we had Baked Alaska!
  • My sim needed quick cash - The yard sale feature is brilliant!!

  • I had no idea we could do any of this. *mind blown, as much as someone as sleepy as myself can get anyway*
