I built a dome, brought my camera angle down to the ground level, and directed my sim to the front door. She ignored the stairs and walked through the dome.
Eta. It does register as indoors because I couldn't fill the bird feeder, but my sim walks through it. Picture of the dome.
I don't know what's going on in my game. I deleted and rebuilt the dome but my sim still walks through it. I fixed it so she can't anymore though. I even have a story line. She built a fence because she was afraid it would collapse on her. Pic.
