There have been quite a few over the past year actually, only the ones who left recently have been so publicized. And apparently there are quite a few missing employees than I thought looking at these job postings, which should be a little worrisome.

Keep in mind that they also do a lot of restructuring and hiring when they're about to start work on a new base game.

That's right. It is also standard practice in the AAA games industry that this sort of restructuring occurs when starting any new project. Industry professionals bounce from job to job with various studios. Just because they have been brought on board recently doesn't make them wet behind the ears.
