I totally agree. I sometimes give up on collections if they become too much of a chore. I like the dynamic to be different too and not something so grindy, I've never been a fan of having to grind in games and I was getting bored of the finding collectibles just to find them.
This way I don't just find them and keep them in my inventory, I'm able to put them up and see my progress of my collection as I go and watch my museum go from an empty museum to something filled with things I've discovered. It's so cool to see that slow process, that is rewarding to see it all displayed out. It kind of makes it like real collectors irl. :D
If you do decide to install your game again and have a museum for your collections, post your pictures in here! I'd love to see your progress and your pictures of getting started on filling your museum! :D
