private practice mod question

so i have this mod and it seems like EVERYONE is always sick! is there a way to "turn down" the sickness levels?
  • I had this issue with Private Practice, too. Not only were my sims getting sick so often, but everyone in my town was sick and miserable 24/7. As far as I could tell, there was no way to adjust how often sims could get sick. It was just too annoying, so I ended up uninstalling the mod.

    You can't, that was the reason I got rid of that mod. Download HealthCare Redux, its a much better mod and far more fleshed out than Private Practice.
  • yeah it was a cool mod but like you said everyone is sick all the time! im probably goin to uninstall it also

  • @mollymegan82 You won't need to download any lots for Healthcare Redux by adeepindigo. It's all rabbitholes.

    You can find it here, for free: https://www.patreon.com/posts/49278885

    To get the best from it, you'll also need to download a couple of other small mods - they're listed at the end of the Patreon page.

    But, do wait until it's updated for the latest patch. I had tried it out on my brand new game save and sadly, it went wonky on me. I had to restart the save, after I removed the mod. It looked like a great mod, too. I love PP but again, my singer Sim was in the Clinic for often than on the road. LOL All of those adoring fans, I guess. He's very open to them. So much so, he got the Don't Touch me Quirk. :open_mouth: I also enjoyed PP for the renovation of the medical career. My newly graduated Sim could enter Medical School, become a resident, then a Senior Resident and finally is offered a job as a Physician at a higher level than before. While I do understand that some Nurses will become Nurse Practioners, Sims start their journey in the game as Janitors, essentially. :open_mouth: I had a friend, rest her soul, who became a doctor in RL. Med School is a must.

    ETA: This one linked above was updated on August 8, not after the September 21 patch.
