Your favourite occult sim?

My favourite lifestate is probably Aliens just for their neat looks. I wish they had a few more powers, though.

I loved fairies and plantsims in ts3, and plumbots were also pretty fun.

Spellcasters - aliens - vampire - mermaid

Vampires. If werewolves are added later on, and depending on quality and gameplay, they may take the lead.

Why? Because vampires have an edge about them and the dark form is easily made not cute - and can be deleted altogether if I can't be bothered with two looks. Which, often, I can't.

I don't really play vampires for the immortality - because I play with my aging off so they're all immortal and occult sims aren't something i am really interested in so I don't spend alot of time playing them.

Since you asked though, I have to say my favourite are the mermaids. When Island Living was released I created a mother and son household. He is interested in the outdoors and is a marine biologist but couldn't really think why a posh Anna Wintour type fashion maven would want to live on a tropical island in the middle of an ocean instead of a city until inspiration struck that she was actually a mermaid and transformed her. I love watching her swim around and I have often changed the weather with her ability. But what makes me love mermaids is the fact that this household more than any other i have ever played really inspired me to actually try to write a story based on them. This has never happened before in 10 years of playing the sims so I love the creative inspiration they gave me.

My next favourite would have to be spell casters because they inspired me in a different way. I created my two magic sims based on characters I have played in other games that had magic in them. Because these characters predate Sims 4, they are familiar so it's almost like visiting an old friend that, even though you know them really well, can still surprise you.

Even though occults aren't my favourite, I am glad they are here because they can be interesting if you get the right inspiration.

However ideally it would be aliens if only they were as detailed as vampires are - I just have a soft spot for aliens whereas other occults don't really inspire me. Too bad they're not well done (still hoping for an alien overhaul)

I adore the aliens, and always have but this version is sadly watered down. I have more fun playing vampires this time around because of the skill trees and they can be a bit of a challenge. Aliens are still my favourite, I love their look and the few abilities that they do have but they can get boring quick so I do love vampires as well as a very close second.
