Your favourite trait combinations

What are your favourite trait combinations or trait combinations you are proud of? 😄

For example, my Morgan has collected quite many wilderness survival traits! She is doing the fishing aspiration now.

  • For Reward Traits for easier lives my Sims now always start out with Steel Bladder, Carefree, Savant, Morning Sim, Night Owl, Friendly Introduction and Frugal. If they'll be joining a regular career they'll get the Connections and Entrepreneurial Traits too. The Beloved Trait is essential lately to stop relationship decay as is Fresh Chef for stopping most food from spoiling. I'm all about traits that stop them complaining (I'm not the most patient and benevolent Sim creator) so Hardly Hungry and Seldom Sleepy are important traits along with Gym Rat and Antiseptic. I use Professional Slacker a lot too for playable careers, in particular the Science career because there's too much fun to be had at the lab without sticking to daily tasks 👽. A lot of my Sims are outdoorsy and explorers too and often earn the Appraiser Trait and will have Loves the Outdoors. Sims from large families get Always Welcome too so they can visit and behave like family in their parents/relatives homes, otherwise it's less realistic.

For kids gameplay lately I give them a lot of these traits too, especially in a large household to make it easier to manage their needs. I sometimes complete the Making Money Scenario to earn enough points for all household Sims to get a head start with helpful traits but sometimes I use points/traits cheats. I didn't use those until this year because as a console player any cheats requiring testingcheats disables achievements/trophies but I recently caved and decided it was worth it to stop me yelling at my Sims "you can't possibly be complaining again!"

I love that we can have so many more personality Traits now with Self Discovery too, but the constant pop ups with random suggestions do bug me a little. I've said "no" to the Neat Trait I meant "no" to the Neat Trait. No my pet owner Sim does not want the Animal Enthusiast Trait because they will be constantly sad and  "missing furry friends". They should be gaining the Cat/Dog Lover Trait instead because that makes more sense 🤦. I'm careful to avoid Traits with negative moodlet sentiments that make them miss family or animals. I like the Cheerful Trait to help them stay happy. I avoid Romantic Traits too because I can't stand overly flirty Sims as they choose inappropriate times...like around the family dinner table 😳.

Nice to see I am not the only 1 who has long long lists of traits!  I deleted all the toddler/childhoods traits/rewards for aging up, with elders/adults, just because I was concerned with the "layering" of similiar traits.   But my favorites all have to do with outdoor living and activities.
