Your favourite/most unusual money-making methods

Do you often find yourself losing interest in a household once they've made lots of money or have a steady high income?

I find that I have so much more fun on the journey to making money than when my sims already have enough. Life's about the journey, not the destination!

I thought it would be great to gather together some fun and unusual ways to make a sim's living!

At the moment I'm making one of my households struggle by selling homemade honey at daily yard sales :#

Another one of my favourites, which is very unpredictable but can end up making quite a bit, is breeding frogs to find rare and valuable species

All ideas are very welcome :)

    If we only talk about the basic game here, painting and writing is usually the way my sims make a decent living, although they may not be that unusual. xD Living only on the income from work could be a nice challenge, though, good luck paying the bills with those peanuts. :P

    Even if my gameplay is centered around supernatural Sims, I love playing the Rags to Riches challenge from time to time. I forbid myself to make money from frogs, rocks or gardening because you can't do that in real life and I like to keep it realistic. I make my Sim a kleptomaniac and she/he has to survive with stealing things only, I found it really funny and realistic actually.
