World: 4/10 - Nothing about the new world impresses me.  The lots are unimpressive and the concept itself is weak.  In the last couple of expansions there were lots that allowed for larger houses/families but there are hardly any here.  There is one lot that seems really stupid, it looks like a residential lot with a huge watering hole?!?  Really?!?  Each world should offer multiple lots of different sizes that don't require me to evict families to make a house for my standard 8-Sim families.  At least this one is not as useless as the High School world.

CAS 5/20 - And even that is a stretch.  Nothing really stands out as worth mentioning (I'll address fairies in their own section).  I remember scrolling through the CAS clothing lists and not seeing anything that seemed like it was new - I had to filter by the pack for any of the new clothing options to stand out.  Really poor showing for this pack.

Build/Buy 1/10 - When I first saw this pack its perceived potential inspired me to get it.  Liked the idea of the 'hobbit hole' style home and wanted to try to build them and giant mushroom homes.  Total waste of time and effort.  Thought it would cool to have burrows for my Sims but no, that's now how this pack was set up.  Utter disappointment.

Gameplay 5/10 - Again, not impressed.  The excitement for the new gameplay elements lasted maybe half an hour before I completely lost interest.  Was excited about new garden plants to grow - most of my families develop extensive gardens for food and extra money.  The ideas we lackluster, their execution weak, and the overall result is added gameplay that is actually un-entertaining.

Fairies 0/10 - Never wanted fairies, never saw the need.  Now we have them whether we want them or not.  And not just Fairy Sims, but also Fairy infestations now.  I know some people like fairies for gameplay - and I don't begrudge them that.  In previous Sims versions I liked the fairies, but this time...just another swing and a miss for EA.

Overall, I regret buying this pack.  Like so many others it looked good in the trailers but fell horribly flat in reality.  The first time I started a new family after installing this pack, the first Monday morning, seven of the eight sims in the house had one of the new ailments from the pack as well.  Looks like EA is in a race to the bottom again.  In another discussion I suggested that EA release packs to all players for 30-days to try them out then disable them unless we buy it - but I think they realize if they did that, nobody would buy their stuff.
