This isn't my usual playstyle at all and I've sat this one out at this time. That said, I might actually be willing to give it a try this time around but I have some hesitations and have continued to sit on the sidelines for it.
I'd really need everyone turning into a spellcaster to be managed differently. I'm not someone who would get a magic pack and then complain about having magic. I got the vamps and while I only have one as playable, I edited the townie vamps to my taste and I don't complain that they mysteriously show up among other sims. It's true though that having everyone be a spellcaster would wreck my current save and not fit my playstyle. If I were to add magic, I'd want it to be really exclusive.
Also, I tend to like exploring the different worlds and incorporating them into the game. I was wanting a livable forest and the art nouveau art style is intriguing. It's another small world though and it sounds like it is somewhat lacking in uniqueness so that isn't drawing me in.
Given that it's really not necessary for me and that the main features are not that interesting to me, I'll hold off. If they fix the bugs in the pack, I might consider bundling it down the road. I've liked StrangerVille and I got that as a bundled whim. It wasn't my normal playstyle at all but I thought it was fun and I still keep the solved world.
