I'm conflicted, but all I know is it definitely could have been better.
It's a little disappointing because, This was one of the main packs I've been waiting for, Werewolves are hopefully next!
I feel they could have recycled animations better.
They could have recycled the meteor summoning ability animation from Island Living, modify it slightly, for a better inferno spell. Same with the Lightning ability animation from Seasons, if they recycled that, it would be a better than Zip-Zap. the power to go summon up all that lightning power at will, and fling lightning at objects and smite people with it. Yas!
Alchemy Ingredients don't make sense. I know this is magic, but actually thats no excuse magic ingredients make sense in most lore. I'm looking for a good mod that changes the ingredients So it does.
The Build Buy and CAS Content, is useless, except the Cast Iron Cauldron, but everything else I agree I they should have done a Medieval/Baroque/Romanticized theme.
I appreciate they tried to expand the concept from Witches to Spell Caster, It's playable however I have to wait on playing my story mods to shape this pack into what it should have been. It's kind of sad that other packs don't contribute at least one spell book. Like Someone made the mod to add the Tome of Climatio to teach the caster weather spells and change seasons at will... and then If your caster has maxed vampire lore, they may learn the Vamplify Spell to turn victims into vampires. Herbalist concotions can be made at the cauldron.
Cats and Dogs & My First Pet could give the Tomes of Felis and Canis teaches the Caster to turn a victim into a cat or dog.
