I've never kept with a schedule for my Sims babies, toddlers, or children. If it becomes too much for a single Mom and/or Dad, or both, I move in Grandma or Grandpa. Adopt one if you have to. They work much better than babysitters, butlers, or nannies ever have. Kids are well taken care of, no matter the schedule they have, or the rest of the family. They are always available.
