Acting career isn't working for one specific sim

So I've been having some problems with the acting career in my game. One day I saw that my actor sim was suddenly unemployed, even though I didn't make them quit their job, and they still had the opt...

The acting career isn't showing up in the find a job panel for this specific sim at all. It's showing up in other sims in other households.

    @debie_iti Try taking ANY other career then. Then check if it's showing up once you took another career.

    Taking another career should make the Sim quit any current careers. Maybe the game thinks your Sims is still in the acting career although showing they are not.

      Hey, it's been a little while. Just wanted to let you know that once I left the career, it was available again. I was able to join it and now there are no problems! Thanks for the help!
