After the August 30 update, my custom content isnt working

My game automatically updated when the August 30th update came out, but now, none of the custom content I have downloaded works. It doesn't show up in CAS and the sims i had used the CC's on have had the custom things taken off them and are now naked and bald. I tried re-downloading some and downloading new ones but none of them are working.

If you saved the game while the CC and mods were disabled the change is permanent. Once you have reenabled Mods/CC and verified that the CC you use works you will need to recover a previous save.
