Hi! i figured this issue out, i have at least 1000 cc items so it was a real pain to get it to work but this does really work. all i did was make a separate document in my documents tab on file explorer, i called it 'cc', i just grouped together like 20 items at a time from my sims 4 cc mod folder, put it into the cc folder in my DOCUMENTS, and ran the game to check if it still had this issue. for me it was something with furniture. but anyway, once you find that the issue is no longer happening, the broken cc will be in ur whatever separate folder u created in ur DOCUMENTS tab. if you want you can delete all of it so the issue will not longer run, or u can slowly put in maybe 5 at a time to save some cc and narrow down which one is broken. there is no real easy quick solution to this, but i hope grouping your cc together and narrowing it down helps.
