Aspirations automatically completing and not showing up

hi so i've been having this problem for a while now, i'm trying to do the "Family Dynamics Challenge" and aspirations are automatically completing besides the last one on each of them and when i go to chose a new aspiration nothing appears. is there any way to fix this? i took out all my mods and cc, restarted and repaired the game but nothing is working, what do i do?
