Best friend scenario become best friend won't work

Product: The Sims 4Platform:MacWhich language are you playing the game in? SvenskaHow often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)What is your current game version number? 1.88.228.1220.What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except the kits, vampires, journey to Batuu, strangerville, and a few stuff packs. I have laundry, backyard, movie nights, vintage glamour and Moschino. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In the scenario box the assignment for becoming best friends with another child friend won't tick off when my kid has become best friend with someone. What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens. The assignment won't tick off. What do you expect to see? the assignment for becoming best friends to tick off, as that the assignment has been accomplished. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? YesDid this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure&nbsp;‌I can't complete the Best friend scenario as it doesn't come up that I've completed the assignment to become best friends with some other child.&nbsp;

I had the same problem. The mod causing the problem was LittleMsSam More Bestfriends mod. Delete that mod and then go back into the game and become best friends with someone else (or cheat if you want the same sim: Forget sim -&gt; set relationship level to true friend -&gt; ask to be best friends(forever)).

@faerya84 If you have LittleMsSam More Best Friends mod, delete it out of your mod folder. Open the game and redo the BFF thing and the achievement should work then.

I was having the same issue. I play with a number of mods and a bunch of CC, so I turned everything off*, restarted the game, gave my sims some hair and clothes 😉, and courted a new best friend. This time it counted.

Initially I thought it might be MCCC's multiple BFFs option, but the problem persisted even with that option turned off in MCCC's options. And tbh I'm too lazy to go through my eleventy-gazillion mods to work out which exact one it was. At any rate, it was definitely a mod issue for me.

* Specifically, I disabled custom content and mods in Game Options > Other > Untick "Enable Custom Content and Mods"

@Rune_L93  Did you test this without mods installed ? To be sure, they became friends after you started the scenario ?

I have the same issue. My child sim met someone at school. i invited her over and the played. They also went to the park and play etc. Then when i clicked on the sim i had the option become bff forever so i did that, but my box isnt ticked off. i do have other boxes done and the box for good friend also went up to 2 with this sim.

The only reason i can think of is that in the description it says that you'll find the option under Friendly, but with me i already saw the option when i just clicked the sim.

i saved my game and closed it and then started it again because i thought it was a glitch...But it didnt help.

Now what?
