blue & black furniture glitch

Question

Hey, I’m really hoping for a little bit of guidance please, for a while now everytime I’d load the game at least 1 furniture item from my sims home will appear in black and blue stripes, and then when i cover my mouse on it it’ll momentarily revert back to normal, but go back to black and blue when i remove the mouse. I would appreciate any help, maybe it’s the CC? Should I just remove it? Or is there something i’n my game file that needs removing?

@3vos2c3xdc2y Open your save and immediately do a "save as" to create a copy of it that you can experiment in without changing the original.

You can also recover backups if necessary - the game automatically keeps a couple - but we'll cross that bridge if & when we come to it :-)

@3vos2c3xdc2y  Best to try without cc on a backup of your save to check if you have the same issue.What platform are you playing on ? Windows or Mac ?

Hi, thanks for the response.I’m playing on Mac. Can you please help me explain how to play on a backup file you mentioned? I’m not that good at that tech stuff.
