breeding

Mt cats won't breed, I'm good friends with them both. I googled tips and read that I should "encourage to be nice" first, but that option isn't popping up. Every time I encourage them to breed the female cat reject the male. Yes she is in heat, every time I try my sims is "sad encouragement didn't work" but the game won't let me encourage them again because "Iris has recently bred, wait a day to see if it works"
