Recent Creator News

• A creator named UNYOOZD claimed, a few days ago, that they replaced their CC download files with ones containing malware. Their Patreon has been deleted, so I can’t verify that downloads from there actually contained malware, and I don’t know if their Patreon even had downloads. Their TSR downloads are just standard .package files and not malware. There is no evidence, then, that they actually did this. If you do have any .zip, .rar., .exe., or .ts4script files from this creator, you could delete those. I recommend, however, not spreading word that there was actual malware from them, as there’s no evidence of this.

• cinnalattesims stepped away from Sims modding earlier this year and is looking for someone to adopt their mods, which are mostly tips replacements, cursor overrides.
• B4S4LT is now hosting their mods on Patreon, as well as MTS.
• TwelfthDoctor1 (TD1)/Lord Percival XII is no longer updating on Mod the Sims. “Future mod downloads will now be via GitHub and/or CurseForge.”
• After many years of co-creating mods with MizoreYukii, thepancake1 will now be modding solo and plans to start a new Patreon for downloads.
• Serra (xosdr) is taking a break from Sims modding.

New Bugfix Mods

• FrequentlyBasic – Outdoor Benches Fix for Lovestruck – Apr 20, Patr. – Removes a bug where there’s a last exception (LE) error and outdoor benches/picnic tables becoming unclickable. (As a side effect of the bugfix, Sims can watch stars or the sky with Sims they don’t have a romantic relationship with.)
• FrequentlyBasic – Romantic Blanket Fix for Lovestruck – Apr 26, Patr – fixes an LE with Lovestruck in particular preferences/relationship circumstances

• Kuttoe – Romance Knowledge Test Fix – Apr 30, itchio – “Fixes a StopIteration error that can occur when clicking on loveseats, benches, picnic blankets, or stereos (possibly others too) when the active Sim knows another Sim on the lot is not attracted to them”; Bug report here
• Kuttoe – Watch Sky Romance Fix – Apr 30, itchio – to fix “The Watch Sky interactions are missing several considerations that other romantic interactions normally have." 

• KaylaDot – Chess Permission Fix – May 5, Patr/CF – “Removes the permission check on chessboards, so you won't see the option grayed out saying "you don't have permission."”
• Amethyst-Lilac – Odd Jobs Career Tone Fix – May 10, Patr – "This is a fix for the Island Living odd job system where, if you're on another lot when a gig ends, there will be an error and the gig won't end."
